Great Podcast for RVing Enthusiasts
Mike is such a professional interviewer, this podcast is a joy to listen to. He understands what his listeners are looking to hear and cultivates an engaging and well paced program. Highly recommend. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!
The best RV podcast I know of
This really is the best RV podcast I listen to (and I listen to 3 right now and have quit listening to others). The best thing about this podcast is also the worst thing about this podcast ... Mike is a TV journalist. Because of that, the podcast has more "polish" than any other. Very well done, informative, entertaining. Good variety of topics. The interview segment is typically very good, as is the off the beaten path segment. Unfortunately, because of Mike's TV background, this hour plus long show has only about 40 minutes of actual content ... the rest, as others have said, is ads. And it's the same ads over and over and over ... seriously, make sure you listen to this with a podcast app that lets you fast forward 15 seconds at a time so that you can blow thru the commercials. But the worst part of the show is the "Traveling with Technology" segment, which is completely misnamed as at least 80% of the time it has nothing to do with traveling with technology. A better name for this segment would be "Whatever Cheap Google / Android Crap Verizon Wants to Foist On You This Week." And I'm a Verizon customer, so I'm not knocking them ... but this segment is AWFUL and should be dropped. Having pointed out the couple of problems with the show, I would still highly recommend this podcast to any RVers or wannabe RVers.

I really enjoy this podcast 💕💕
Comments from the Federal Inspector.
Fire safety 101 for an RV was quite educational for me. I've been in safety business for 40 years or so and I can always learn something and I sure did. I will keep this video to show to some of the past years that I have in my RV throughout the years coming. As I am a fairly new RV operator I sincerely appreciate all the time and effort that was put in the making of this educational audio.
Love it!
Great show! It’s fun, entertaining and filled with great travel tips & information. I’m looking forward to digging into this podcast further!
Don't have to have a are to like the show!
Mike and his wife, Jennifer, and his guest hosts bring an informational show filled with great ideas of travel, problem solving and enthusiasm of this lifestyle. It's a wonderful listen for anyone wanting to jump into this lifestyle.
Great Podcast
We love listening and dreaming of getting our own Roadtrek in the near future!
Best rv podcast
We don't have an RV yet, but we've listened to most of Mike and Jennifer's podcasts! We're wannabes! We're a family with young kids that's never owned an RV. Thanks to all the great info here we're hoping to get a class B soon! Thank you!!!
My Go-To Podcast
What an entertaining and informative PodCast. I'm going back to the beginning so I don't miss anything. Mike and Jennifer and his RoadTreking gang will be my road companion as I travel, soon in my own RoadTrek!
gail
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I have a roaktrek ss agile and get great ideas from this podcast.
Learning so much
My wife and I have gone through the first 50 episodes in the past few weeks, trying to learn about Class B motorhomes. Currently tent campers we hope to "see the world" in a Class B when I retire in a few years. There is so much good information in each podcast supplemented by links on the website. I can't imagine a better way to educate ourselves about Class Bs and boondocking.
Don't leave home without it!
I'm hooked on this podcast no doubt about it. Listen to Mike & Jennifer as I walk my laps around the outdoor high school track and enjoy every minute of it. Have learned so much with the many guests and shared experiences. Thank you both. More and more am considering a RoadTrek. We've been focused on the Class C but I can see the advantages to driving a class B. Keep doing all you do.
Podcast tips
This was the first RV podcast series for us. We love all the tips and info given. Has helped us along our journeys. A MUST for RVers
Love Mike Wendland
Informative and entertaining. I look forward to the weekly podcast.
Best RV Podcast Out There
I have listened to several different podcasts on RV'ing and this by far is the best one. It is very professionally done with great tips and ideas for everyone no matter what size RV you own. We are in the research and planning phases of buying a class A motorhome and have found what we have learned from Mike and Jennifer's podcasts to be very valuable. Plus, the sound like really nice people and are a pleasure to listen to. Mike and Jennifer, keep up the great work!
Informative Podcast
Everyweek I look forward to the Roadtreking Podcast. I plan on buying a class B RV in the near future and I have listened to almost all of the backlog of this podcast. It has help me decide what I want in a class B RV and how to travel and manage things along the way. Highly recommended for those seeking info on this type of travel.
Skip ahead
I love being able to skip ahead or start at a beginning of a certain section. Skipping a topic I am familiar with or have heard before is great.
Great RVing info
Love this podcast. Mike and Jennifer provide a lot of entertainment and information. Don't know how I missed finding this podcast earlier. Very useful information no matter what type of RV you have or like me are thinking of buying. Thanks so much for taking the time to produce such a fine podcast.
Wonderful for new RV'ers!
Jennifer and Mike (sorry, Mike, for the 2nd billing) always seem to know what we're wondering about, and address it. We have a lot to learn, and always look for their latest hints! Next, we'll get a Bullet for those healthy protein shakes on the road! Imagine our surprise to find PC Mike (we used to watch you on the news shows a few years back) doing helpful and professional podcasts for RV'ers! Someone mentioned in a review that you do too many ads. Well, a) that's what helps pay the bills, and b) they are helpful to newbies like us! So, thanks. It's nice to just click on over to Amazon and read reviews about gadgets you recommend! Thanks for a great product! Happy trails to you and the new pup!
Great Info for RVers or Soon to be RVers!
We haven't even adopted our RV yet but these podcasts, hosted by Mike and Jennifer, are really helping us narrow down which Class B we want (and don't want!). From manufacturers, to maintenance, to size and options, to where to go...lots of useful info in each and every episode. You don't have to have an RV to enjoy the show. And, they're nice people, too!
Great info, lots of repetition.
Mike gives great information... Unfortunately he talks a lot without saying much. The podcast could be a quarter of the length and contain the same amount of information. More like a radio show than a podcast, probably because of all the sponsorships (I am used to listening to podcasts with single sponsorships). Regardless, he is entertaining- and probably targeted at an older demographic than mine.
Excellent
Just subscribed but if the podcast is half as good as the blog then this will be at the top of the charts for a long time!!
Good content, good format
It is impossible to listen to Mike and not learn something. It's also nice that there are many choices in the RV podcast space. Different ages, different rigs, different goals. All are different & all have something to offer. I hope Mike and Jennifer and Stephanie and Jeremy and Janine (okay, I'll stop😊) keep on doing what they do. All of them are providing a service to their listeners. Thanks to each of you.
Excellent Source for RVers!
This podcast is very useful for experienced road travelers, and those just starting out, and everyone in-between. Mike and Jennifer offer great tips, detailed information, and cover every subject from RV maintenance and repair, to places to travel, where to stay, and how to make your home on wheels work for you. I love their interviews with experienced pros, and the information about things to do while traveling on the road and how to mix your hobbies with your travels. The included links to all the information presented help me go back and find resources as I need them. Great job!
